Long ago, the gods gifted the beings of Nomen the Kwartz crystals: stones of immense power, used to evolve, heal, and prosper. But greed corrupted the crystals, and the crystals corrupted their bearers, turning them violent and irrational. Now the corruption reaches the kingdom itself, and there is still time to defend it.

Kwartz turns that premise into a 2D side-scrolling tower defense: place defenders, manage resources, and hold the line through increasingly hostile waves.

Tech

  • Unity with C#
  • 2D side-scrolling presentation over classic tower-defense rules

What I learned

  • Balancing a tower defense: wave pacing, economy, and the difficulty curve.
  • Building placement and combat systems in Unity’s 2D pipeline.
